In a landmark initiative that blended public service with healthcare, the renowned NGO Chhoo Le Aasman successfully hosted a Cancer Detection Camp at the District Court, Nagpur, on 30th June 2023. This vital health camp was a proactive effort to raise awareness about early cancer detection and provide free screening services to one of the most active working communities—the legal fraternity.
Lawyers Lead by Example
The event witnessed over 200 members of the legal community—advocates, judicial staff, and support personnel—enthusiastically participating in health screenings. The response was overwhelming, highlighting how vital accessible healthcare at the workplace can be.
Justice Rohit Deo presided over the awareness session and attentively viewed a live, life-saving demo by Dr. Sheetal, who showcased breast self-examination techniques—a crucial step in early detection.
